Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph on Sunday, October 22 2017, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late W.A.O. (Allen) Whitworth (2009) . Loved mother of John (Karen) of Guelph and Ann (Ian) of Oakville. Loving grandma of Katelyn and Andrea. Predeceased by her four brothers Bill, John, Max and Jimmy. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Celia’s life will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Thursday, October 26th at 11:30 a.m.. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Memorial contributions to the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Celia Whitworth in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
