Peacefully passed away at Guelph General Hospital on Friday, February 17, 2023, in his 76th year. Loving brother of Karen Wildfong of Guelph. Honorary uncle of Elizabeth, Vicki and Becky Weafer. Survived by many relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret.
Ron was the owner/operator of Ron’s Tire Service in Guelph for many years. A special thank you to the staff at Wellington Park Retirement Home for their constant care and the doctors and care workers at Guelph General Hospital.
A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at Gilchrist Chapel-McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street (at Eramosa Road), Guelph on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 1-3 p.m. To respect Ron’s wishes, casual attire is invited.
In memory of Ron, in lieu of flowers, donations to Children’s Foundation of Guelph & Wellington would be appreciated.
