Wilson Mike MM3
January 23, 1949 - January 19, 2020

Born in Milton, Ontario, Mike grew up in Acton and lived in Guelph for most of his life. He is predeceased by his parents April and Bob Coates.  He is survived by his children Chris, Becky and Jeremy, Sisters Heather and Michelle, his longtime love Cathy and his beloved dog Rex.

Mike's first love in life was music. He always had a song that someone had to hear. His great sense of humour and wit will be missed.  He was a charismatic, fun-loving free spirit who lived life on his own terms. As he requested, long life friend Frank Morton will take his ashes to Rattlesnake Point and carry out his request   As per his request, there will not be a service.

Michial Wilson was born in Milton on but raised in Acton on and as known to his friends as Twigg or Twiggy passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital Sunday night surrounded by his best friend since childhood Frank Morton and Frank’s daughters Kimberley Morton and Kerri Morton and Frank's grandchildren Jordon, Brandon and Jaden . Twigg was a presence all in his own when he was in a room you knew it always a smile on his face could make everyone smile and always willing to help in any way he could. Twigg was a accomplished steel guitar player having played in Nashville with some of the greats. He taught my children about music and always had a good song he wanted you to hear lol. Twiggy always had a hug for ya or a phone call every day to see how you were even while in hospital he was more concerned about reaching out to see how Frank was doing or would call you in the middle of night to ask hey whatcha doing lol. The Morton Family will miss him very much and he would always leave you not with a good bye he didn’t like that he would say later later. Well Twigg, later later, we love you. As he requested, no service, just that Frank will spread his ashes at Rattlesnake Point, a place he loved to go so - Twigg Later Later xxoo
