It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Albert on April 18, 2022 at Guelph General Hospital, in his 80th year.
Beloved husband of Deanne for 47 years, devoted Dad of Andrea (Tony) and Darren (Stefanie). Cherished Grandpa of Arielle, Arlo and Archer. Brother of Carl, Philip, Keith, Stanley, Ronald and Carlton. He will be fondly remembered by numerous extended family and friends.
Albert was born in Georgetown, Guyana. He earned his PhD at Queen Mary College, University of London, England. He taught at the University of Guelph in the Department of Chemistry for over 30 years until his retirement.
Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday April 30 at Parkwood Gardens Community Church (Northwest entrance, 501 Whitelaw Road, Guelph) from 2:00 to 4:00pm.
