It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Marie Wosik (nee Janiec), January 30, 2022, at the age of 83.

Beloved wife of the late, John Wosik (2011) and loving mother of Carolyn Teri, Kathy Coles (Andy) and Janet Wosik (Joey Macerollo). She was a proud grandmother of her seven grandchildren Hannah, Jasmine, Ethan, Emma (Jack), Tristan, Daniel and Mackenzie. She will be greatly missed by her sisters, Bernice Oosterveld, Eleanor Wagar and Christine Smart and their families. Frances will be reunited with her mother (Caroline Janiec, 1964) and her sister Dolores Moskal (1991), whom she has dearly missed over the years.

Frances was born June 21, 1938, in Guelph, Ontario. She worked at Stone Lodge Retirement Residence for many years as Front Desk Receptionist, meeting many residents and greeting visitors. She embraced a wide variety of friends joining them for coffee, euchre card games and her leisure time at the YMCA. Her avid sense of humour made the people around her laugh wherever she was, creating fond memories along the way. In her spare time, Frances enjoyed playing golf, tending to her garden/house plants and bird watching.

We would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Brodovsky and the nurses and staff of 4 West at the Guelph General Hospital for all the care and comfort they provided.
