It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Michael Iran Wright on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the age of 75.
Forever cherishing his memory, his loving wife Myrna, sons Rick (Karen), Kevin (Allison) and daughter Angela (Mick).
Mourning his passing are his brother Pete (Cindy), grandsons Mike Jr. (great granddaughter Aurora), Mason, Jacob, Tyler and Ty, niece Jenny (Mike), Tina (James) and many brothers and sisters-in-law. He will be missed by many friends made through the Royal Military College and banking.
Mike is preceded by his mother Verna, father Joseph, Pops (Harold) and brother Joseph (Anna-Mae).
Mike battled cancer for many years. While it deterred him from many sports he loved, it didn’t stop him from travelling to Florida for a few winters, enjoying card tables (especially when he won), playing games with the grandchildren (where he said he could never win because the kids kept changing the rules), going to favourite restaurants and making frequent stops at Tim Horton’s.
Heart felt thanks to John and Christine Dawson, and Mary and Joe Hajer for their friendship and support through this difficult time.
