YOUNG, Doreen Shirley (nee Clayton) – Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the age of 90.
Beloved wife of the late Leroy George Young (2002).
Loved mother of Bradley (Dale) Young, Michael (the late Janet “Korky”) Young, Rosalyn (William) Allin, Rodney (Linda) Young and the late Scott Young.
Loving grandmother of Byron (Jen), Collin (Kerry), Trevor (Rachel), Kelly (Darryl), Amber (Bob), Kerri (Jeremy), Mike (Caitlin), Leroy (Chelsea), Tamara (Josef), Alana (Jason) and Haley. Great grandmother of sixteen.
Survived by her brother Garnet (Ruth) Clayton and her sisters-in-law Ruth Monkhouse, Yvonne Knight and Gert Clayton. Predeceased by her siblings Newton, Bruce, June, Bill and Bev.
Will be lovingly missed by Cathy Alexander, and many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation was held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 12-3 pm. A private funeral service followed at 3:30 pm.
