It is with sadness and heavy hearts that the family of our beautiful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Audrey Jean Zaduk, announce her peaceful passing two days after her 89th birthday on June 27, 2019. Audrey was the dear wife of the “love of her life”, the late Michael John Zaduk (2017). She was the very cherished mother of Peter (Susan Chapman), Michelle (Graham McAnulty), Kimberley (Anthony Galioto), and Steven (Ramona). She was predeceased by her infant son, John. Audrey was the proud and loving grandmother of Sarah (Pat Johnston), Erin (Mark Ellis), Nicholas (Anna Farber), Michael, Steven (Colleen Harrington), Kristine (Stefano Bosello), Laura (Ryan King), James (Katie), Samuel, Avery, and Alec. She was “G.G.” to her much-adored great-grandchildren, Elsie, Marty, Porter, Ernie, Madalynn, Charlotte, and Calvin. She was the sister-in-law of Valeria "Boots" Zaduk and will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by her parents, James and Jean Turton, her brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Phyllis Turton, and her daughter-in-law, Viola Michalski. She will be sadly missed by her pet cat, Chloe. Audrey was a very loving and generous person who valued her family and friends above all. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the wonderful 4th Floor West staff at the Guelph General Hospital. The gentle, loving, compassionate care given to Audrey during her final days is very much appreciated. We also wish to thank Dr. Rosemary Danielli for the wonderful care she gave to Audrey throughout the years. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Audrey's life will be announced at a future date.
