Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Thursday, July 11, 2019 in his 74th year.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Brenda Zinger (nee Norris); his daughter Tammy and her husband Dave Nash and by his son Adam Zinger and his girlfriend Jayce Page all of Guelph. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Matthew and Sarah Nash. Loving brother of Larry and his wife Barb, Sharon and her husband Andy Palmer and Mike Zinger. George will be missed by his beloved cat “Socks”. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Margaret Zinger. George touched the hearts of all who met him with his love of music, cars, family, friends, and a slight touch of irreverence that made his spirit a joy to behold.
Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
