Of Guelph, passed suddenly at his home with Jacki by his side on Monday, May 20th. Joe Zorzi in his 66th year of Guelph. Beloved husband and best friend of Jacki for 46 years. Loving father of Jen, Jason, and Joshua (Samantha). Much loved Papa of Antonia, Marco, and Kaleb. Always loved and remembered by his siblings, Katie McLeod (Doug) of Hanover, Paul (Erin), Tom (Anna), all of Southampton. Predeceased by his parents Ruth (1998) and Gino (2008) Zorzi of Port Elgin.
Joe was kind, generous, humble and selfless in all that he did. His sense of humour was contagious. He leaves behind a long list of friends whose lives were forever touched by knowing him.
Visitation will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St. on Thursday, May 23rd from 3pm -5pm and 7pm-9pm, as well as Friday, May 24th 1:30pm-3pm with service to follow at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart and Stroke Association, and The Canadian AIDS society would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Joseph A. (Joe) Zorzi in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2:30 pm.
