The 38-year-old male driver from Woolwich Township that was involved in a collision on June 27, 2019 where a cattle hauler carrying 98 head of cattle left the roadway and rolled over has been charged with careless driving.

Seventeen cows died or had to be euthanized due to their injuries at the scene while another 25 escaped, some of which are still at large and the remainder were taken to a stockyard.
