Animal rights graffiti spray painted at U of G research facility

Unknown suspects entered the facility and spray painted graffiti on the walls, as well as outside on a tractor that was parked on-site

TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH – On April 28, 2020 at approximately 8:30 a.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of mischief at the University of Guelph Swine Research Site located on Arkell Road in Puslinch Township.

Investigation revealed that sometime between April 27, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. and April 28, 2020 at 6:30 a.m., unknown suspect/s entered the facility and spray-painted graffiti on the walls, as well as outside on a tractor that was parked on-site. 

The graffiti consisted of profanity and slogans in support of animal rights.

A suspect vehicle was captured on surveillance footage at the University of Guelph where a similar incident occurred during same period of time. The vehicle is described as a 2008-2009 four door Metallic Blue Ford Focus.
