A Guelph woman was arrested for impaired driving Monday evening, Guelph police report.
Approximately 6:18 p.m. police received a complaint about a vehicle driving erratically in the middle of the road and almost sideswiping another vehicle.
Several minutes later the vehicle was located and stopped on Scottsdale Drive. After failing a roadside breath test the driver was arrested and transported to the police station, where tests indicated she had nearly three times the legal amount of alcohol in her system.
A 38-year-old Guelph woman is charged with impaired driving. Her driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for seven days.
