Brazen downtown daytime heist nets thieves $200K in merchandise

Police say three males entered a business around 5 p.m. Thursday and smashed display cases with hammers

Guelph police are investigating after approximately $200,000 in merchandise was stolen from a downtown business on Thursday. 

Police report that at approximately 4:56 p.m. police were called to a downtown business in response to a robbery in progress. Three males entered the business armed with hammers, smashing display cases, and removing merchandise from the cases. The three males fled the scene in a black Honda CRV, before police arrival, leaving behind a shoe and duffle bag.  

The suspects are described as;

(1) Male, light-skinned, black puffy-like hair, above average height, a dark blue blazer, black undershirt, ripped light blue jeans, blue and white Nike shoes, blue medical mask.

(2) Male, dark-skinned, tall, thin build, wearing a black hooded sweater, black thin material mask, blue medical gloves, black track pants with a white vertical stripe, black shoes with white markings.

(3) Male, dark-skinned, short, slim build, wearing a black hooded sweater, black cap, black thin material mask, dark pants, black shoes with white trim, black gloves.
