A Guelph couple face numerous charges after gift cards were bought using a stolen credit card.
The pair was arrested Tuesday in relation to an incident on March 26, explains a police news release.
The two were allegedly caught on surveillance video using a stolen card to make or attempt to make purchases at various businesses. More than $300 in gift cards were bought from one business, then used at another business after the credit card was suspended for suspicious activity.
A 38-year-old Guelph man and a 34-year-old Guelph woman are charged with several counts of possessing stolen property and fraudulent use of a credit card. The man also faces several counts of breach of probation.
