CRIME OF THE WEEK: Thieves smash glass to break into two restaurants

Three suspects were involved, and left in a white vehicle, possibly a Mustang

Between the hours of 4:30 a.m. and 5:10 a.m. on Wednesday Nov. 29, two restaurants located in the south end of Guelph were broken into.

The first occurred around 4:30 a.m. at a business on Gordon Street near Edinburgh Road South. Culprits broke the glass door to gain entry and stole a cash register and a cash reader.

The second happened less than an hour later at Tandoori Shawarma & Pizza located on Gordon Street near Lowes Road. Entry was gained by breaking the glass front door and a cash box was stolen.

Three suspects were involved, and left in a white vehicle, possibly a Mustang.
