A Guelph man faces drug trafficking charges after he was arrested Thursday afternoon on an outstanding warrant.
Guelph police were on patrol approximately 2:20 p.m. when they observed a man at an address on Woolwich Street near Speedvale Avenue West. Officers knew the man to be wanted for failing to appear in court and he was arrested.
During a search incident to arrest officers located quantities of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine with a total value of approximately $5,000.
A 52-year-old man is charged with three counts of possessing controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking and failing to appear in court.
