Mooning incident at library leads to indecent act charge

A Guelph man is charged with committing an indecent act after a disturbance downtown Monday morning where he mooned library staff and patrons, police report.

Approximately 10 a.m. police were called to the downtown library for reports of a man inside acting in a belligerent manner and screaming at staff. Officers spoke to the man who left the library a short time later but was still belligerent and screaming.

As he walked away, he pulled down his pants to expose his buttocks to everyone in the area, including several children. A 31-year-old was arrested for committing an indecent act.
