Police investigate trailer break-in

Wellington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a theft from a trailer which was parked at 116 St. Andrew St. W., Fergus.

Investigation revealed that the sometime between Oct. 30, 2017 and Nov. 2, 2017, unknown suspect(s) broke into a trailer that was parked at the above location. Culprit(s) gained entry by smashing the combination lock. Six TIPI style canvas tents were taken. They are described as being 210 square feet in size. Each tent was contained in an individual duffle bag, similar to a hockey bag and each bag weighs between 75-100 lbs.
