Rear-end collision results in impaired driving charge for Guelph man

On Nov. 9, 2019 a blue Kia travelling west on Speedvale Avenue west near the Hanlon Parkway rear ended a black Honda civic stopped for a red light.

Police arrived and allege the driver of the Kia, a 47-year-old Guelph male, was found to be impaired by alcohol.

He was arrested and charged with Operation While Impaired and having a BAC at or above 80. It is alleged the driver had over twice the limit of alcohol in his system

Damage estimates for the two vehicles is $4,000. There were no injuries in this collision.
