Guelph police are investigating a suspicious fire at an abandoned house early Wednesday evening.
Approximately 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, the police and the Guelph Fire Department were called to an abandoned house on College Avenue West for a report of a fire. The fire was quickly put out.
Damage to the house is considered minor and no injuries were reported. The fire is considered suspicious and police have initiated an arson investigation. Officers remained on scene overnight as the investigation continues.
