Three-vehicle collision leads to impaired charge Sunday

A Guelph woman faces an impaired driving charge following a collision Sunday afternoon.

Approximately 4:40 p.m. police were called to a three-vehicle collision at Victoria Road South and Elizabeth Street. While speaking to one of the drivers officers noted signs of impairment and she was arrested. Analysis by a trained expert at the police station determined she was impaired by drugs.

A 39-year-old Guelph woman is charged with impaired driving. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for seven days.
