Guelph police are once again reminding residents not to leave running vehicles unattended after two were stolen Friday evening from outside local restaurants.
Approximately 8:45 p.m., a delivery driver reported he stopped at a business on Silvercreek Parkway North to pick up an order. When he came outside a few minutes later his white 2010 Kia Rondo was gone. Video surveillance showed a male waiting in front of the business and then getting into the car as soon as the owner went inside.
Ninety minutes later, at 10:15 p.m., a female called police to report her white 2015 Honda Civic had been stolen after she left it running outside a restaurant on Macdonell Street.
