A Guelph woman faces a new charge and had her vehicle impounded after police reportedly nabbed her behind the wheel three days after she received an automatic license suspension following an impaired driving arrest.

While on patrol shortly before 10 a.m. on Tuesday, an officer queried the licence plate of a vehicle parked near a known drug house in the north end. The result showed the vehicle’s registered owner was suspended from driving following her Saturday arrest.

The vehicle was seen being driven away a short while later and police pulled it over.

A 32-year-old Guelph woman is charged with driving while suspended and her vehicle impounded for a week.
