Hayden’s Aberfoyle Garage has been a mainstay in the Guelph area for over three decades. The full-service auto shop was established in 1984 by Don Hayden, an experienced mechanic at Wayne Pitman Ford who took a chance on starting his own business.
Don’s enduring passion for the automotive industry, talent as a mechanic, and a desire for creating a customer centred business was the foundation that Hayden’s Garage was built on. Pairing his dream to be a business owner and drive to succeed for his family, Don dedicated long hours in his shop to service his customers while his wife, Lorraine Hayden oversaw the garage’s operation.

Don and Lorraine along with their son, Kevin created a unique three-bay shop that specializes in universal auto service and values customer relationships as an integral part of their bottom line.
What began as a dream of self-employment and dedication to service turned into a reliable business that thousands of locals depend on to keep their vehicles safe and running.
Today, Hayden’s Garage handles all things automotive from tires and brakes, to preparation for emissions testing and everything in between. They also provide convenient fleet service for Element, Wheels Inc., and PHH.
And it’s all packaged with a pledge to stand behind the services provided.
“Taking the stress out of having a vehicle to repair is the best service we provide,” says Kevin Hayden. “If we can’t fix it, no one can.”

While Don Hayden recently retired due to health reasons, he continues to be a pillar and an asset to the shop. Hayden’s Garage remains a family business and is run by his wife, Lorraine and son, Kevin along with a team of experienced mechanics.
