In the city, this crossover performs like a sporty hatchback. You’re sure to notice its crisp response, superior handling and great fuel efficiency. Drivers will enjoy increased capability overall. On those more adventurous drives, you’ll have generous ground clearance, lots of cargo space and the versatility to be able to go anywhere at any time. A newly available 2.5-litre, 182 hp engine comes standard on Sport and Limited trim levels and the vehicle has 18” wheels made of aluminum alloy.
A suite of trim levels to choose from
This car can handle even the roughest roads in the area. When you purchase the bold new Sport trim level, it is the only Crosstrek model that comes equipped with a dual-function version of X-MODE® that includes Hill Descent Control with SNOW/DIRT and DEEP SNOW/MUD settings. This optimizes all-wheel-drive performance in both difficult weather and adverse road conditions.
Sport trim also includes unique exterior and interior design accents, as well as Subaru’s exclusive StarTex™ upholstery with yellow stitching. The upholstery, made of a lightweight, urethane material, has been manufactured without the use of polyvinyl chloride, phthalate or chlorine.
Convenience, Touring, Outdoor and Limited packages are also available.
Comfortable luxury—and style
The 2021 Crosstrek features a more athletic exterior design with a redesigned front bumper, front grille and details specific to its several trim levels. The vehicle seats five comfortably and has a convenient push-button start, heated leather front seats and a steering wheel with stylish orange stitching. Of course, you’ll have the use of Subaru’s STARLINK® Connected Services, plus even more bells and whistles, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with NAV, a SiriusXM® Satellite Radio (which requires a subscription), eight Harman Kardon® premium speakers, Apple CarPlay® and Android® Auto functionality.
Enhanced safety
All Crosstrek models are equipped as standard with Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive and Active Torque Vectoring. This offers quite an advantage over other compact SUVs where all-wheel-drive will cost you extra. The vehicle offers a long-travel suspension system and a number of more advanced safety features, one of which—the enhanced EyeSight® Driver-Assist Technology—now offers Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering Assist.
Crosstrek models equipped with the Lineartronic CVT, whether standard or as an option, all come with this award-winning technology. The large suite of driver-assist technologies includes Automatic Pre-Collision Braking, Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Lane Departure Prevention, Lead Vehicle Start Alert, Auto Start-Stop and SI-Drive. The Rear Seat Reminder helps prevent child or pet entrapment by alerting the driver to check the rear seat before exiting the vehicle.
In addition, all 2021 Crosstrek trim levels include seven airbags. This vehicle has been named an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick+ for six years running.
