The REALTORS® at Royal LePage Royal City Realty are on the pulse of what’s happening in local real estate here in Guelph and Wellington County.

To help communicate the latest details to homeowners and potential homebuyers in the area, they compile monthly market updates by community and quarterly market reports that both outline and explain the most recent activity. They produce separate monthly reports for Guelph, Centre Wellington, Puslinch and Guelph Eramosa, and their latest, most comprehensive report takes an in-depth look at Q2 results.

The June 2023 Wellington County Real Estate Market Report reveals, for instance, that Wellington County real estate remains in a sellers’ market this month, as a lack of inventory continues to push the market forward. The lower number of new listings is also holding back both unit sales and sales volume, though both of these numbers are beginning to rise above where they were at this time last year.

The average sale price for homes in Wellington County in June was $860,838 and the median sale price was $800,500. There were 535 new listings on the market and 333 unit sales. Year-over-year sales volume for the month of June was up 28.02% and unit sales were up for both freehold homes and condominiums.

Recap: The Summer Soireé

The brokerage’s REALTORS® have a reputation for being friendly, positive and professional. They’re also committed to giving back and strengthening local community supports.

The group was proud and excited to host The Summer Soireé on August 17th, 2023. Held on the grounds of the stunning Aberfoyle Mill in Puslinch, this elegant evening garden party raised funds for an incredible cause. Proceeds benefited Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis, an organization that has been providing safety, support, information and advocacy to women and their children for over 40 years.

There were silent and live auctions, with some amazing items on offer. All proceeds went directly to the charity. Attendees played a few yard games, took in some live music and enjoyed delicious food and drink. It was a great gathering of community members who want to make a difference.

This event was made possible thanks to the support of Dominion Lending Centres,

Canada’s top mortgage company with 2,800 mortgage professionals across the country. Special thanks go out to the Chairman’s Sponsors Nancy Ingram and Marie Illerbrun.
