This position represents a wonderful opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. As Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, you will be a key player in the Community Team, tasked with recruiting and retaining new volunteers, developing specialized training programs, and organizing volunteer appreciation events. Flexibility is key, as the role may require evening and weekend hours for meetings and projects.

Key responsibilities will encompass volunteer training and recruitment throughout Guelph & Wellington County, oversight of all residential volunteer support, community engagement initiatives, and oversight to wellness programs such as yoga, reiki, and massage.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working with volunteers or a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a background in a progressive non-profit organization. Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and a valid driver’s license are also required. In line with Covid-19 safety measures, proof of full vaccination is required.
