TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On Nov. 2, 2017 approximately 4:50 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision involving a 2013 Mazda 3 and a Ford dump truck on County Road 21 near 4th Line, Township of Centre Wellington.
The driver of the Mazda 3, 38-year-old Amy Stiles of Fergus, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford dump truck was transported to hospital for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation unit attended to assist Wellington County OPP with this event. The investigation is continuing.
County Road 21 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
