TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - At approximately 4:50 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision involving a car and a dump truck on County Road 21 near 4th Line, Township of Centre Wellington.
OPP, Centre Wellington Fire and Rescue, and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Services attended.
The driver of the car was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the dump truck was transported by Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
County Road 21 is closed between County 7 and Fourth Line and will remain closed for several hours while the investigation takes place.
