Here's where you can get necessary supplies in Guelph

The following is a running list of businesses and organizations still open to the public during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you would like your notice added to this list, please contact [email protected]. Additionally, please refer to the Government of Ontario COVID-19 page for information.

In light of the steps taken by the Government of Canada, the Province of Ontario, the City of Guelph and the City of Brampton, as well as the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, and the Ontario Court of Justice, a number of changes to our operations are effective immediately until April 5, 2020. Avis Budget Car Rentals Guelph remains open with new hours beginning March 21. Hours from Monday to Friday are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The Mortgage Centre is still open and ready to serve people whose mortgages are renewing, purchases that are closing and debt restructuring. They're still open during regular business hours and offering appointments virtually through go-to-meeting and telephone. It's easiest to connect with them through their web site skipthebank.ca

Guelph General Hospital has tightened visitor restrictions.

Grocery stores remain open.

Pharmacies remain open.

The Guelph Humane Society will handle emergency animal calls, but only by phone. Their location is closed.

Dentists have been advised to provide service on an emergency basis only. Check with your dentist before attending an appointment.

The Beer Store and the LCBO remain open.

Shoppers Drug Mart has announced the first hour (8 a.m. to 9 a.m.) of operation will be designated for seniors and those living with disabilities. The store will also offer the 20 per cent senior's discount at this time. 

All grocery stores remain open, and are encouraging shoppers to practice social distancing. 

Cafes and restaurants have been ordered closed to dine-in customers by the province of Ontario, but may remain open for takeout and delivery.
