About Nature in the City:

Are you new to Guelph? Perhaps you are ready to start exploring nature, but unsure where to start? Or want to meet like-minded nature lovers in your community? Nature in the City is a yearly series of free, public programs run by Nature Guelph that can help you dive into nature in the Royal City. Bring your friends and family, and learn just a little more about the natural world in your own backyard, while meeting other people in Guelph who are interested in nature connection and the outdoors.

About Nature Guelph:

Nature Guelph is an active club for all nature lovers in the Guelph, Ontario area, promoting and providing opportunities for nature connection, education and conservation. Our events are free and open to the public. We host a monthly speaker series and member meeting at the University of Guelph Arboretum Centre with exciting guest speakers, as well as regular outdoor events and field trips in the Guelph area and beyond. We have a special interest group for wildflower lovers, a Young Naturalists’ program for kids ages 6-10, and an EcoLeaders programs for teens.

Our membership is open to nature lovers of all ages and backgrounds. There’s always room for new members, and visitors are always welcome. Not sure that Nature Guelph is for you? Feel free to join us for free at any of our meetings or outdoor events, and we’re sure you’ll be hooked!

You may know Nature Guelph by its previous name: the Guelph Field Naturalists. The name may have changed, but our love of nature has remained the same since our founding in 1966!
