Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health confirmed 30 new cases in Wellington County on Monday morning, bringing the total number of active cases there to 55.
On Friday Public Health said many of the new cases in the county were attributed to a spread in the Old Order Mennonite Community.
There were 19 new cases confirmed in Guelph.
There are currently eight cases in five different area long-term care and retirement facilities, all of them staff members.
