A new 165,000 square foot logistics and warehousing facility is on its way to Guelph, according to a report from Real Estate News Exchange.
With a completion date set for 2024, the development is described as a partnership between private equity real estate developer Forager Real Estate Partners and Sherway Group, a third-party which would be the facility’s only tenant.
Efforts to reach each for comment weren’t immediately successful.
A post on the Sherway Group website says the warehouse side of its business “handles all commodities with an emphasis on food and beverage and consumer products.”
The planned facility is identified on Forager’s website as its “midwestern logistics facility.” It goes on to state the location is a 7.1-acre corner parcel with “high visibility” in close proximity to Highway 401.
Forager bought the property after securing a company to lease it, the website adds.
