Guelph-based organization Art Not Shame (ANS) will receive $49,200 in funding support from the provincial government intended to ensure it can adapt its operating model in order to effectively respond to increased programming demands and key staff needs.
The funding, which is provided through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Community Building Fund Operating stream, will help the organization to strengthen its fundraising capacity through increased staffing.
“This support comes at a crucial moment for our organization, for the communities we service, and for the just, hope-fuelled future we seek to co-create,” says board chair Dr. Liz Jackson in a news release. “We are deeply grateful for the support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, which will enable us to sustain and deepen our work.”
The Ontario government launched the Community Building Fund in early 2021.
