SCHOMBERG -- Police have identified the driver killed in a head-on collision Monday as Joshua D'Archi of Belwood.
OPP said the man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened on Highway 9, roughly 12 kilometres west of Highway 400 around 11 a.m.
The highway was closed for several hours while police investigated the incident.
The white van D'Archi was driving collided with a dump truck. The driver of the dump truck was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
