The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington extends its sincere thanks and congratulations to all golfers, volunteers and community members who took part in this year’s Fore Our Kids Golf Tournament. You have helped to empower local children and youth by connecting them to opportunities that build hope for lifelong change and break the cycle of poverty.

On Tuesday, May 14, community members teed off to raise more than $21,000 to support the Foundation's four core programs: Adopt-A-Family, Food & Friends, Free to Grow and Scholarships.

From filling their bellies with healthy food so they can focus on learning in school, to acquiring new skills like driver’s training, to inspiring hope during the holidays, to launching their post-secondary studies through scholarships - participant, volunteer and community support is turning their dreams into reality.

The Children’s Foundation also acknowledges the sponsorship of local organizations and businesses as they help us reach even more local children and youth.

This year, the Foundation extends its gratitude to the following event sponsors: Presenting Sponsor, Darren Scott, The Co-operators; and Contest Sponsors BDO Canada LLP, Servpro of Guelph, and Meridian Credit Union. The Foundation also received support from Joe Migliaccio, Desjardins Insurance as the Golf Cart Sponsor.

“The Tournament provides an opportunity for supporters, donors and partners to come together for a day of great golf, networking, and most importantly, making a difference in the lives of local children and youth,” says Jennifer Tasca, the Children’s Foundation Events Manager.
