Police seek information on Edinburgh Road South sexual assault and a case of mischief in Mount Forest

CITY OF GUELPH - At approximately 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, a sexual assault took place in the area of Edinburgh Road South, between the river and Wellington Street West in Guelph.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 40 and 50 years of age, approximately 5’6”-5’8” tall, with straight brown hair to the bottom of his ears. He was wearing a t-shirt and shorts. The suspect was last seen walking southbound on Edinburgh Road.

TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH - At approximately 1:50 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018, an act of mischief occurred at a residence located in Mount Forest.

Culprit(s) caused damage to a vehicle that was parked in the driveway. The vehicle is described as a blue 2007 Mazda 3. The driver’s side window was smashed and a fire had also ignited in the dash area.
