NEWS RELEASE
GUELPH FOOD BANK
***********************
Will You Help Us Keep Food On The Shelves?

The need for emergency food support in this community is growing at a rapid pace thanks to inflation and the general cost of living; and our organization is distributing more food now than it ever has before. Last years record 1.7 million pounds of distributed food seemed unimaginable, but we are already on track to surpass 2 million pounds this year.

With emergency renovations keeping us out of our warehouse and operating out of four borrowed trailers for months, we were unable to promote this years Spring Food Drive as much as we would have liked. Now as we hit what is typically our slowest time for donations, we are in critical need of non-perishable food donations and we are seeking the help of our community.

We are asking any able parties, whether personally, as a business, club, camp, sports team, etc., who are interested to host a food drive and collect non-perishable food items on behalf of the Guelph Food Bank and its network.

If interested, please reach out to us by email or calling 519-767-1380 for more information / to get a bin delivered!

In our 30+ year history, our community has always stepped up to the plate to make sure our neighbours have the foods they need to thrive, and we thank each and every person involved for supporting our mission, together we are People Helping People!

Want to help but can't commit to collecting food? You can also donate online by clicking the link below!
