Getting ready for the return of a Happy Hillside

Crews are on scene on the island at the Guelph Lake Conservation Area setting up for the Hillside Festival this weekend

The Hillside Festival returns this weekend.

The three-day festival, which runs in the Guelph Lake Conservation Area, features a number of musical acts on five stages, as well as workshops and activities for all ages.

The 2020 and 2021 festivals were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gates open Friday at 4:30 p.m. and both Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. The festival closes at 11 p.m. on all three days.

Tickets are still available, but if you have your weekend pass from 2020, it is valid to use for this year.

Ticketing and schedule information can be found HERE.

The forecast is calling for a small chance of showers and a thunderstorm risk Friday afternoon, but clear through the evening.

Saturday will be sunny with a high of 30 degrees, but expect rain on Sunday and a high of 25.
