GUELPH, ON - April 23, 2017 – On April 23, 2017 at 06:40:15, the Guelph Fire Department responded to a reported fire at the above noted location. Units from Headquarters, Stations 2, 3, and 5 arrived at the scene and found smoke coming from the roof of a single family dwelling.

The fire was quickly brought under control and subsequently extinguished.

There were no injuries to occupants or fire personnel.

The cause of the fire along with an estimate of damage is still under investigation. Fire Prevention was contacted and is continuing with their investigation.

The Guelph Fire Department would like to thank Guelph Police Services, Guelph Wellington Emergency Medical Services, Public Works, Guelph Hydro, Victim Services and the Red Cross for their assistance.
