According to the Guelph and District Association of Realtors, home sales have decreased sharply from July 2020.
CREA reports a decrease of 22.5 per cent compared to last year.
The number of new listings also declined.
The average price of homes sold went up y 21.9 per cent from the year previous.
In July 2021:
- 442 residential units were sold
- $859,049 was the average price of homes sold
- 489 new residential listings were posted
To compare, in July 2020:
- 571 residential units were sold
- $711,285 was the average price of homes sold
- 580 residential listings were posted
In June 2021:
- 563 residential units were sold
- $859,694 was the average price of homes sold
- 719 new residential listings were posted
To compare, in June 2020:
- 345 residential units were sold
- $666,962 was the average price of homes sold
- 448 residential listings were posted
