A Guelph man faces weapons charges after a knife was pulled Sunday during a neighbour dispute.
Approximately 5:40 p.m. police were called to an address near Pine Ridge Drive and Periwinkle Way. Investigation revealed a man had confronted a neighbour who was pouring something into a sewer drain. The pair became involved in a verbal altercation, during which a butterfly-style knife was brandished.
A man was located by police and arrested. A 19-year-old man is charged with assault with a weapon, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
