Mixed bag of weather on the way warns Environment Canada

Light snow at times mixed with ice pellet is up first for Monday afternoon, followed by snow then freezing rain and rain will round things off on Monday evening

   Guelph - Erin - Southern Wellington County
   Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo

Current details: 

A messy mix of winter weather expected Monday afternoon and evening. 

Periods of light snow at times mixed with ice pellets is expected to move into the area Monday afternoon and persist into the evening hours. Some areas may see snowfall amounts of 2 cm by Monday evening.

A brief period of freezing rain is then possible in the evening before precipitation changes to rain. 

Motorists are urged to exercise caution Monday afternoon into the evening as untreated roads may become slippery. There may be an impact on the evening commute.
