Motorcyclist involved in crash just east of Guelph dies (updated)

TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH/ERAMOSA - At approximately 4:00 p.m. June 1, 2018, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Wellington Road 124 by Jones Baseline, near Guelph Lake. Initial reports indicate that a sedan and motorcycle had collided.

Wellington County OPP, Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Service and Guelph/Eramosa Fire Department responded. The 32-year-old male motorcyclist was transported but was pronounced deceased at hospital. The deceased will not be identified until the next of kin is notified. The lone occupant of the sedan was uninjured.

OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) and Guelph Police Service Reconstructionist Officers continue to investigate the cause.
