They say Necessity is the Mother of Invention, and with that in mind, we’d like to announce that May is Mulch Month!
Yes, we cancelled our individual sale days due to Covid-19, however, Marty Young of Young’s Home Hardware in Mount Forest advised he would be to modify the fundraiser and give customers the opportunity to buy the same mulch throughout the month of May, but with 25 cents from every bag going to Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington (CSGW). These purchases, like all others at Young’s Home Hardware, will be done respecting physical distancing and keeping both customers and staff safe.
Andre Belisle of JLs Home Hardware in Guelph agreed that he could offer this same service at the Wellington Street location, which is where we held the event last year. The CSGW Board of Directors are most appreciative of these accommodations, as fundraising is the fundamental way of paying Tipster rewards and keeping our program running.
If you are interested in purchasing mulch in Mount Forest, please call 519-323-1500 or email Marty at [email protected]. You are also able to attend the store and order in person with the safety measures put in place.
For our customers in the Guelph area, you can order your mulch by calling JL’s Home Hardware at 519-822-8230, pre-ordering at www.homehardware.ca or by attending the Wellington Street store and adhering to the physical distancing measures already in place.
