Public library's youth writing collection launches Saturday

The Guelph Public Library, in partnership with Vocamus Writers Community, is excited to launch ETCH 2023 at the Guelph Public Library’s West End Branch Courtyard (21 Imperial Road South) on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 2 p.m. The Teen ETCH Anthology is an annual short story and poetry collection that celebrates the writing achievements of Guelph’s youth.

Meet local authors Candace de TaeyeAshley Tindall and Stephen W. Briggs as they announce the winners of our 2023 Teen ETCH Creative Writing Contest - plus you’ll have the chance to purchase your own copy of the anthology for $20 a copy or 2 for $30. Refreshments will be provided while you mingle with other creative minds.

The Guelph Public Library appreciates the continued support of Vocamus Writers Community for publishing this anthology and highlighting the amazing creative talents of Guelph’s youth.
