Puslinch break-in sees jewelry, bank cards and chequebook stolen

Police were called about a break and enter after a home alarm was activated on Wednesday

PUSLINCH – On Wednesday, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a break and enter at a residence on Townline Road, Puslinch. No one was home at the time, but the homeowner contacted police after receiving a notice from their alarm company.

Investigation revealed that several pieces of jewelry, watches, banking cards and a chequebook were stolen. The total value of the stolen items was estimated to be approximately $30,000.  

The Wellington County OPP is continuing to investigate and is asking that anyone with any information regarding this incident contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or, if you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip online at www.csgw.tips. You may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.
