Returning for the 6th annual installment, Wellington Brewery is excited to announce details for the 2019 Queen of Craft women’s beer series.
Every Friday in March, women beer experts will host a series of guided samplings and discussions exploring different topics and themes in the world of craft beer. Topics and session include:
- Craft Beer Scavenger Hunt
- Mastering Malts; an exploration of grains
- Beer & Cheese PLUS
- Return to the Roundtable; relevant craft beer issues examined
- GLOB (Gorgeous Ladies of Beer); craft beer and women’s wrestling
“This years Queen of Craft programming will bring together new and seasoned beer lovers to learn, have fun, and give back to the community while delving into relevant topics in the craft beer industry” says Queen of Craft founder and organizer, Karyn Boscariol.
All proceeds from Queen of Craft will go to support Guelph-Wellington Women-In-Crisis. To date, the event series has raised over $20,000 for the organization, supporting their vital work in the region.
