NEWS RELEASE
THE PEOPLE AND INFORMATION NETWORK

For leaders of organizations, senior leaders, leaders of volunteers and board members, the EDPG symposium Transforming Together offers expertise and engagement for the non-profit sector.

PIN – The People and Information Network has hosted an annual symposium for the local sector welcoming leaders to learn, connect and strengthen capacity. The fifth annual EDPG symposium is happening virtually on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022.

“In PIN’s Community Benefit Sector Survey: One Year Later, the findings remain clear; a convergence of issues as a result of COVID-19. More need, less revenue, decrease in volunteerism. Feedback indicated an appetite for opportunities around re-imaging, re-designing, re-visioning, partnerships and collaborations,” says Kim Cusimano, executive director. “This appetite has a buffet of opportunities for our community to work together in new and different ways.”

PIN is pleased to welcome a stellar lineup of experts to explore what is ahead for the sector and how can we use our leadership to transform together.

Transforming Together symposium participants will hear from:
    •    Bruce MacDonald, CEO of Imagine Canada
    •    Dr. Rebecca Sutherns, founder and CEO of Sage Solutions
    •    Kris Cummings, principal at DO/ABLE

Register, mark your calendars now to kick start 2022!
    •    When: Tuesday, Jan. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon
    •    To register: PINnetwork.ca
